Wasia Project is a UK based pop duo that consists of William Gao and Olivia Hardy. As kids, William Gao became a classically trained pianist, while Olivia Hardy learned how to play the violin using the Suzuki model. Together, the sibling sensation has cooked up a distinctive sound that blends alt-pop with jazz elements. The band made an epic entrance in 2019 by uploading their debut single, "Why Don't U Love Me," on SoundCloud, and it went viral! Fast forward to 2022, and Wasia Project dropped their debut EP How Can I Pretend?. The following year, William Gao and Olivia Hardy released the smash hit, "Petals on the Moon" via LaoLao Records / AWAL. This dynamic duo is absolutely huge right now. Last year, their ballad, "Ur So Pretty", made it to the silver screen as the soundtrack for the second season of the Netflix hit series Heartstopper. Meanwhile, they just completed a completely sold out UK headline trek, as well as lent their talent to Tom Odell as special guests on his European tour.
