The Used at Irving Plaza

The Used have recently unleashed a special three-albums-in-full anniversary tour. Celebrating a huge milestone, this year marks the Utah emos 25 year mark as a band. In true The Used fashion, Bert McCracken (lead vocals, piano), Jeph Howard (bass, backing vocals), Dan Whitesides (drums, backing vocals), and Joey Bradford (guitar, backing vocals) will be celebrating the special occasion in style. The four piece will be hitting the road across the US, the UK and Australia this year. The Used will be taking over each city for three nights, performing their 2000 self-titled album, 2004 In Love And Death record and 2007 Lies For The Liars opus.

“Overwhelmed!” says frontman Bert McCracken. “These first three records are what put The Used on the map. I can’t wait to experience the joy in playing all three records from front to back. For US fans, The Used will kickstart the 25 ANNIVERSARY TOUR in April with 3 nights at The Fillmore in Detroit, MI. From there, they will visit major cities like Chicago, Boston, Denver, LA, and Salt Lake City, before wrapping up the American leg at the House Of Blues in San Diego, CA on May 16. Another huge outing will be in New York, NY, at the Irving Plaza on April 22 where they promise to perform Playing Lies For The Liars to the very back of the crowd. The must-see concert will give fans the chance to experience their favorite tunes live. The legendary tracklist includes: "The Ripper," "Pretty Handsome Awkward," "The Bird and the Worm," "Earthquake," "Hospital," "Paralyzed," "With Me Tonight," "Wake the Dead," "Find a Way," and "Liar Liar (Burn in Hell)."
