The Used at Irving Plaza

The Used have just announced a special three-albums-in-full anniversary road trip. Commemorating a massive milestone, this year marks 25 years since the Utah emo rockers formed as a band. If you know The Used, you know that Bert McCracken, Jeph Howard, Dan Whitesides, and Joey Bradford will be celebrating with a huge rager! The quartet will be arriving at each city around the world for 3 consecutive nights, playing fan favorite albums, including their 2000 self-titled record, 2004’s In Love And Death, and 2007’s Lies For The Liars.

“Overwhelmed!” says frontman Bert McCracken. “These first three records are what put The Used on the map. I can’t wait to experience the joy in playing all three records from front to back. I know it will be an amazing time. I wouldn’t miss it for the world. Sending love to you all and I hope to see you there!”.

“We feel extremely lucky and humbled to have been a part of something way bigger than ourselves for the past 25 years,” adds bassist Jeph Howard. “To everyone that has been there from the beginning or is just starting out your adventure with us thank you. Here’s to the next 25!”

For American fans, The Used will begin the highly anticipated 25 ANNIVERSARY TOUR on April 3 with three nights at The Fillmore in Detroit, Michigan. From there, the four piece will visit major cities across North America including Chicago, Boston, Denver, LA, and Salt Lake City, before winding down the leg at the House Of Blues in San Diego, California on May 16.

The most anticipated night of the trek is in New York City, New York, at the Irving Plaza on April 21 where they promise to perform the iconic Playing In Love And Death album in all its glory. The hotly awaited gig will give fans the chance to catch their favorite song live. The awesome tracklist includes: “Take It Away,” “I Caught Fire,” “Let It Bleed,” “All That I've Got,” “Cut Up Angels,” “Listening,” “Yesterday's Feelings,” “Light With a Sharpened Edge,” “Sound Effects and Overdramatics,” “Hard to Say,” “Lunacy Fringe,” “I'm a Fake,” and “Under Pressure.”
