Irving Plaza
Kiff: South African slang for being cool, excellent, and really, really awesome.
The Kiffness: The really, really awesome South African producer, multi-instrumentalist, internet phenomenon, and performing parody artist that keeps knocking it out of the ballpark with his epic viral hits such as 'Oh Long Johnson', 'NumNum Cat', 'Big Billy', 'Alugalug Cat', and 'They're Eating The Dogs', racking up almost one billion views and playing many sold-out shows worldwide.
And now, New York, you won’t believe your luck – because innovation, talent, laughter, and a woofin’ good time are headed your way this spring! Come down to Irving Plaza on 16 May 2025, and catch The Kiffness live in concert with his ‘Vote For Pets’ Tour!
Tickets are priced from the totally insane price of only $47 and are flying faster than what The Kiffness can compose (and that is pretty fast…), so hit that ‘get tickets’ button right now and secure your spot!
Want to see what the internet sensation is all about?
Now is your chance, New York!
The Kiffness is about to hit some of the major venues in the world – starting off in the United Kingdom and Ireland, and then descending upon North America. Total innovation, genius, and humor are slated to roll through Nashville, Tennessee, in early May 2025, canvassing the nation before wrapping up in Orlando, Florida, in mid-June 2025.
When multi-instrumentalist David Scott – The Kiffness himself – makes music, whether live or riding the internet waves, he brings people – and a whole lot of cats and dogs – together. It’s a feast of insanely catchy jams and the wittiest lyrics matched with the grooviest of rhythms, resulting in tunes that lift the rafters and will get stuck in your head for days.
The Kiffness’ first single, ‘Where Are You Going?’, with Matthew Gold, dropped in 2013, and from there, it was onwards and upwards. The single hit the 5FM charts, and the debut album, ‘Kiff’, received a nomination at the South African Music Awards – once in 2015 and again in 2017. It was, however, the Covid-19 lockdown in 2020 that brought him international fame via social media and streaming platforms. Nobody escapes the parody artist – not South Africa’s then-minister of health for the ban on cigarettes during the lockdown, not political leaders, not decisions made by the South African government, not even the presidential debate between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris, and lastly, but not least – the pets of the internet.
The Kiffness is also known for his activism and philanthropy.
So now, imagine experiencing him live in concert? Seen him once, twice, or even five times? It’s not enough! The Kiffness is the epitome of fun and brilliance, crushing it every single time!
The Irving Plaza already holds the title for one of the best entertainment venues in North America – so things are about to get a whole lot hotter because everything is kiff when The Kiffness is around! The venue boasts a seating capacity of 1,000 spread across a general admission floor area, a reserved balcony, and a section with VIP tables, with all the bells and whistles.
So, what are you waiting for? Get your tickets and get ‘kiff’!
