SCANDAL has recently released the music video for their brand new track, "Terra Boy." This song is the first of three consecutive monthly digital drops. Released on 1 January 2025, "Terra Boy" is part of their upcoming EP LOVE, SPARK, JOY!. To celebrate Scandal’s next opus, the group is plotting a huge tour. Seeing as this is their first North American tour in three years, you can imagine the hype for this show! LOVE, SPARK, JOY! Tour will kickstart on June 25 in Los Angeles, CA at The Belasco, make its way to major cities like Chicago, New York, and Dallas, before wrapping up on July 8 in Mexico City, MX at La Maraka. The most anticipated stop of the road trip is at the iconic Irving Plaza on June 30, with tickets already flying off the shelf. 

About Scandal

If you didn’t already know, Scandal is an all-female Japanese rock group hailing from Osaka. Formed in 2006 by four high school girls, band members include Haruna on vocals and rhythm guitar, Mami on lead guitar, Tomomi on bass guitar, and Rina on drums. With a number of international performances and anime theme songs under their belt, Scandal has built a massive global fanbase. With awesome songs like “SCANDAL BABY,” “LOVE SURVIVE,” and “DOLL,” it’s no wonder that the band has been listed among the top ten of the "Most-Requested Artists" category of the J-Melo Awards every single year since 2010, clinching first place in 2014.

From humble beginnings to racking over a huge following, Scandal first played live street performances until they were noticed and signed to the indie label Kitty Records. Two years later, in 2008, they dropped three singles and a mini-record while simultaneously touring America, France, and Hong Kong. That October, Scandal dropped their major debut single, "Doll", via Epic Records Japan… and they haven’t hit the brakes since!!
