Known for her hard-hitting soulful bangers, Latin rapper and singer NICKI NICOLE is marking her first-ever headlining trek in the U.S. Taking her newest album "Alma" for a live spin, she's excited to hit the road across the country on the ALMA TOUR USA. Sharing her big hits, fan favorites, and new anthems live on stage across major cities, she's kicking off the trek right in New York, at Irving Plaza on September 22nd.

"This news fills me with emotion. ALMA has been touring many countries, and now, for the first time, it is coming to the USA," Nicki Nicole shared via an exclusive report by Remezcla. "Being able to take an album as personal as ALMA to seven cities and connect with them means a lot to me. Thank you for always being there."

Moreover, Nicki Nicole just shared her newest single "Ojos Verde", a deeply personal song about conquering challenges by living through music. "I always try to express my emotions in my songs, no matter what my state of mind is," she told Remexcla about the track. We're definitely living for this bop!

"In this particular song such as ‘Ojos Verdes,’ I went for the happy and fun side of a cumbia to express something not so positive and happy that I lived [and hopefully] people can dance to it and enjoy it," she added.

Her third LP "Alma" focuses on her heart, highlighting her signatire swagger and strength as an artist with REAL emotions. The album's name translates to "soul", sharing tales about heartbreak and growing pains of maturing and getting back on your feet.

"The inspiration was to heal myself, and from there, the concept came," she told USA TODAY.

As an album that hopes to share the beauty of healing, its creation was more daunting as it seems. Turning her honest and real emotions into song, she had to confront her own demons.

"The hardest part of this album was confronting that I was broken and that I had to do that in order to heal and give this vulnerable part of myself to people," she said.

Sonically, the album offers diverse inspirations, a genre-bending masterpiece. Nicki explains how each song is unique, having their own distinct flair. As culturally diverse Latin music is, she hopes to continue making an impact in the industry.

From freestyle rap competitions to the big stage, she's an artist who continues to inspire her fans with her passion for music. She also shared fascination for the rhythms of cumbia, a number of folk-dance traditions across Latin America. Her roots is definitely evident in her music.
