Lord of the Lost at Irving Plaza

Lord of the Lost, a German metal band and Eurovision finalists, will return to the United States! Happening next fall for the first time in more than a decade, the band is gearing up for a pair of unique gigs on either coast. The two performances, which will take place on September 14 at New York City's Irving Plaza and September 27 at The Roxy in Los Angeles, will be in support of last May’s studio album, Blood & Glitter (which was released in May). They'll also be touring in support of their covers album Weapons of Mass Seduction - just released this December 29 by Napalm Records.

Looking ahead to the two gigs, frontman Chris Harms stated that the band's planned engagement with 70,000 Tons Of Metal sparked their interest in returning to the United States. “After 10 long years of waiting, we are finally heading back to the United States! It has taken too long – not just for us, but for many, many fans. We are overjoyed that the long wait is finally over, and we are finally returning. A little taste of what’s to come is our participation in the 70,000 Tons Of Metal, which starts in Miami. So, at least briefly, we will set foot on US soil. In the fall of 2024, we will finally return for headline shows then!”

Weapons of Mass Seduction features songs from legendary Michael Jackson, Judas Priest and Billy Idol, among others. Just a few days after its release, it rose up to #2 on the Official German Album Charts. Sharing his excitement, Chris Harms said: "With the release of a covers album, we entered the chart week with absolutely no expectations at all. Our main goal in creating this album was to make ourselves happy by playing and recording a selection of our favorite songs by other artists. So, the charts were actually secondary. However, starting the year at #2 on the Official German Album Charts is sensational, phenomenal, and unbelievable! We congratulate our colleague Ikke Hüftgold on his well-deserved #1!"
