One of the world’s hottest heartthrobs in music is making his big comeback — it’s no other than DANIEL SEAVEY. Making music on his own terms, the man is proud to announce his solo debut album “Second Wind” coming out this March. Following his record’s big release, Seavey is embarking on the SECOND WIND TOUR, taking his big hits, favorites, and new music to the big stage. After a slew of new songs that he put out over the previous year — “The Older You Get,” “Other People,” “Gateway Drug,” “If I Ever Get To Heaven,” and “Second Wind,” fans are excited to finally get their hands on the full record right before seeing him on tour.
After the LP’s anticipated release on March 7th, Seavey will promptly head out to kick off his highly-anticipated touring comeback. With a studio record behind his back, he’s down and ready to mark a new chapter in his career. Hitting major cities across North America before heading out to Europe, fans all over the world have gone crazy witnessing the Why Don’t We star’s huge comeback.
“THE SECOND WIND WORLD TOUR 💙 when i created this album i built it all around the idea of my live show. I imagined the live rendition for every single song at the same time i was creating the song. you have no idea how excited i am to bring it all to life for you,” Seavey wrote on social media as he unveiled the tour dates.
The tour follows his supporting act stint for Benson Boone’s Fireworks and Rollerblades Tour last fall. Now, he’s all set to conquer the stage with music that he can call his own.
Daniel Seavey first caught the public eye when he made it to the Top 9 on the 14th season of American Idol in 2015. Thereafter, he became a member of the boy band Why Don't We which produced a couple of smash hits before the band took a hiatus in 2022. Releasing his first solo single “Can't We Pretend That We're Good” shortly after, Seavey took the time to hone his own music. After releasing his first EP “Dancing In The Dark,” in 2023, fans soon caught up with his solo work. Now, he’s got his own debut album coming right up.
Coming out on March 7th, Daniel Seavey’s solo debut LP is named “Second Wind,” bound to showcase his true self. “2 years in the making and we’re finally here,” he wrote on Instagram. “I have so much to say but most of all I want to thank you for taking the time out of your life to care about mine.”
Following WDW’s hiatus, Seavey took the time to focus on his solo work, making music that’ll highlight his authentic self. Teasing a new era back in 2023 through “The Older You Get,” he kept releasing singles here and there, and finally unveiled official deets of his debut studio record.
“I’ve always dreamed of making an album that just felt 100% like me from top to bottom and that’s exactly what this album is,” he wrote. “There’s so much more to say but for now I just want to say thank you so much for sticking by me on this wild journey and I cannot wait for you to hear everything.”
Taking the album for a live spin on the SECOND WIND TOUR, Seavey is bound to make it big. Celebrating at the Irving Plaza, there’s no better place to rock out in NEW YORK CITY.
