Irving Plaza, located right in the heart of Lower Manhattan and a block away from Union Square, is so excited to welcome the queen of Brazilian Pop, Luísa Sonza, to the stage as she traverses the globe on her 2025 Escândalo Íntimo Tour. This leg of the tour will be intimate and exciting - Sonza will be hitting six venues across America that she has never seen before to support the two year old album. Highlights of the tour will definitely be her show at the Echoplex in Los Angeles, Cafe Du Nord in San Francisco, Club Space in Miami, Paradise Rock Club in Boston, and of course - her showstopping performance here in NYC. 

Luísa Sonza is one of the biggest and most iconic names in the Brazilian pop scene, and if you haven’t seen her live yet - you’re going to want to make sure you catch her when she comes to town this summer. Born in the Rio Grande, she became popular after putting videos of herself singing covers up on Youtube back in 2016 and gaining a massive following during the late 2010s. She signed to Universal Music Group almost right away, and in 2018 she released her first album Pandora to massive fan and critical acclaim. Her second album got her even more popularity, and her music popularity rose when she scored a collaboration with Katy Perry on the 2021 remix of Cry About It Later. By her third album, Escândalo Íntimo, Luísa had officially blown up on the international music scene - grabbing a feature from Demi Lovato, touring all throughout Latin America and Europe, and now - The States all summer. 

Sonza’s songs are pop-infused yet heartfelt, eclectic and energetic, and deeply rooted in message and her culture throughout all the songs she puts out. "For me, talking about my music is like talking about my feelings," Sonza once said in an interview with Palabras Claras "What I write is always very sentimental. I don't have a box to think about music, I only do what I feel," she touted.
