Us here at Irving Plaza are so excited to welcome Lucius back home (well - a borough away, but we welcome our borough brothers with pride!) for their Gold Rush Tour that will be kicking off this May right on the heels of their self titled album, set to come out on the 2nd of May. And with thirty three shows scheduled all across the country, we’re so excited to see and hear the new material and vibes the group brings, with Victoria Canal opening the stage up as well. The Spring to Autumn show schedule will feature concerts at different places across the map - including Majestic Theatre in Detroit, Lincoln Theatre the day after us in D.C., a show at The Wiltern in November, and of course - their Irving Plaza show in the middle of May right here in Manhattan. Trust us - you won’t want to miss it when the crew comes to play.

Lucius is the Indie band of your early 2000s dreams that has been delivering us hits and soundbits ever since 2007. Led by Jess Wolf and Holly Laessig, the crew started in Brooklyn, true, but soon moved to Los Angeles and have been influenced by the West coast sounds ever since. Ahead of their 2025 self-titled album, the band has put out five albums - and from the three tracks they have released ahead of Lucius, Do It All For You, Impressions, and Gold Rush, we just know this next one is going to be a smash hit. And besides their own music, they have also worked with some of the greatest in the music industry: like Ringo Starr, The Dawes, John Legend, Jeff Tweedy,​​The Killers, and a host of other superstars. 

Speaking of their new album, they have slated the new release as ““An album for the four of us, just as we first started recording together as a band. It’s raw and honest and feels like coming home; something that resonates deeply in this moment of our lives. We are home in so many senses of the word; in the last couple of years we’ve started setting roots, finding life partners, building families, growing gardens... We wrote songs about life and relationships. We recorded them in our home studios. We saw the beginnings and endings of life cycles while making this record, the beauty and fragility of the human experience. So it’s only fitting that this album is self-titled, it’s our story, who we are now and how we got here. Welcome to our living room,” and - we’re so here for it, we’re so ready to tune in right when it drops!
