This is a block party with a Southern twist, and it's coming to the Irving Plaza on Friday, March 7th. Grits & Biscuits has produced some amazing nights at this venue over the years, and this event in the first week of March promises to be no different. If the pictures from previous concerts are any indication, this is going to be one of those nights when your feet are going to be hurting from all the dancing that you're going to be doing.

Grits & Biscuits got its start exactly as you would've imagined it. A group of friends were looking to find a Southern-style block party experience on the East Coast. Since they couldn't find exactly what they were looking for, they decided to create their own event that would feature the music, the food, and the overall vibe that they wanted out of a party. It was 2013 when the first Grits & Biscuits came to life. We're rather far removed from 2013 at this point, so it's safe to say that these guys are doing something right!
The Grits & Biscuits experience is going to include the presence of some up-and-coming music talents, particularly from this region. Who knows, maybe you'll catch a glimpse of a rapper who will be headlining his or her own show at the Irving Plaza in a few years! Apart from the music, there's this effort to generate an overall vibe that truly makes you feel like you're at a block party. There are going to be some DJs to make sure that the music never stops, and the presenter will be doing his part as well to keep the ball rolling. You won't have too many moments to take a breather at this Grits & Biscuits event. Keep that in mind if you do decide to come out to the Irving Plaza on Friday, March 7th.
