Middle Aged Dad Jam Band at Irving Plaza

Certain shows are hard to describe, not because they're too complex, but at least in this case because there's nothing that you can really compare them to. If there's one thing that's true about heading out to see the Middle Aged Dad Jam Band is that you're going to have a blast! Is the music the best you've ever heard? Maybe not, but the middle-aged dudes playing their hearts out just makes the entire thing a lovable experience. Keep in mind also that both Ken Marino and David Wain, who started the band, are comedians. Of course, the show's going to include comedy elements that will fill up that space between songs that can sometimes get awkward.

You also won't know who's going to be with them at the Irving Plaza come Tuesday, December 10th. That element of surprise brings another layer of intrigue that will make you want to come out. There are going to be a lot of cover songs coming from the stage. These guys love to play songs from the 70s, 60s and other eras. It's one of those shows, though, that's just going to embrace you!
